Next step towards an international career
Once the fundamental driving techniques and the work with mechanics and data engineers are mastered in Nordic 4, it can make sense to aim for abroad as the next step in the development ladder.
The budgets in international single-seater series are significantly higher than in Nordic 4, and the same goes for both GT and prototype racing. For this reason, it can be a smart move to take the next step in Radical Cup Scandinavia, which holds races in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
STEP Motorsport will compete in Radical Cup Scandinavia in 2025 with the ambition of giving talents the next step in their careers—at an affordable cost.
Prototype racing at entry level
Thanks to its light weight and aerodynamic design, the Radical SR3 is an incredibly fast race car that sticks to the asphalt in high-speed corners. The car is largely driven like an LMP3 race car, making it an excellent foundation for learning to drive prototypes.
The Scandinavian championship visits several of Scandinavia’s best race tracks, including Rudskogen in Norway and Gelleråsen in Sweden, as well as FDM Jyllandsringen in Denmark. These tracks provide valuable experience for drivers, which can be carried forward to the larger racing circuits.

The Championship
Radical Cup Scandinavia was created with the goal of providing a championship where both experienced and new race drivers can develop towards a professional career.
With a professional setup covering everything from technical support to media, drivers and teams are in good hands.
As for the sporting level? It’s absolutely worth experiencing. There are also opportunities to participate in other national Radical series, as well as the Radical World Finals, where the world’s best drivers meet to determine the best Radical driver of the year.
