The Rotax Euro Trophy champion from Toftlund is transitioning from karting to formula cars, aiming for the Rookie title in 2025.

After several successful and educational seasons, the 14-year-old karting driver is ready for the next chapter in his career and a host of new challenges:

“I am happy and proud to become part of STEP Motorsport in 2025. This season has been amazing in every way, so I feel ready to take the next big step in my career,” says Casper Nissen, who has already completed his first laps in STEP Motorsport’s formula car:

“It’s completely different from a kart! I have a lot to learn, but I quickly felt comfortable in the car, and the team made sure I was well-prepared for the challenge. I’m incredibly excited to get started with the season,” he says.

STEP Motorsport secured the driver, rookie, and team championships during the 2024 season, and with Casper Nissen on board, team manager Morten Dons looks forward to continuing talent development in the upcoming season:

“Casper has shown impressive development on karting tracks across Europe and has a great attitude toward his sport and the tasks that come with it. We are delighted that he and his family have entrusted his development to us for the next year,” says Morten Dons, adding:

“He faces a major challenge in transitioning from karting to formula cars, but with his mindset and approach, I have no doubt that Casper will do very well. I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

The 2025 Nordic 4 season kicks off at the end of April and will take place on a mix of Danish and Swedish racetracks.
