STEP Sports Management is helping Martin Andersen towards new goals

16. December 2020

This year’s vice champion in TCR Denmark, Hyundai i30N TCR driver Martin Andersen, has high ambitions for his sport. Therefore, STEP Sports Management has come on board to help the Viborg driver take his sport to the next level.

Martin Andersen made his debut in the Danish TCR series during the 2020 season, and right up until the final race, he was in the championship fight. This is an impressive achievement, considering that the family-run Andersen Motorsport team competed against some of the heavyweights of Danish motorsport.

As a result, Morten Dons, the owner of STEP Sports Management, didn’t hesitate when the opportunity to collaborate with Martin Andersen arose:

“Martin and his entire team work incredibly professionally and purposefully, and they have historically always made wise and well-thought-out decisions. Behind the calm and friendly exterior, there are sporting ambitions that are mature and ready to be fulfilled,” says Morten Dons, who will assist with sponsorship work and management tasks.

Despite not following the conventional path to the top of Danish motorsport, Martin Andersen has managed to win races and championships in the largest domestic series. After his impressive results in the 2020 season, Martin Andersen is ready to ramp up for 2021:

“I’ve known Morten since I started karting, and on the sidelines, I’ve watched how he has reached incredible heights simply by working purposefully and professionally. His experience and network, especially his international connections, will be a great help for me as I aim to take my sport to the next level,” says Martin Andersen, who is particularly looking forward to having experienced hands to assist with sponsorship work:

“Morten really has his finger on the pulse when it comes to creating an attractive package that makes it possible to bring more sponsors on board. We already have several concrete initiatives in discussion, and I’m excited to work further on them,” says Martin Andersen.

Plans for Martin Andersen’s 2021 season will be announced shortly.
